A Message From Rich
Riverside is more than my home – it’s where my story began. Raised by a hardworking single mother, I learned early on the value of resilience, community, and giving back. My wife, Marisha, and I both grew up here, and now, as parents and grandparents, we are committed to ensuring that Riverside continues to be a place where families can thrive.
After years of serving on local nonprofit boards and city commissions – working alongside residents, business owners, and community leaders – I realized I wanted to do even more to serve our great city. That’s why I’m running for City Council. I don’t have all the answers, but I know how to listen, collaborate, and fight for the needs of our neighborhoods. My goal is simple: to make Riverside a place where opportunity, safety, and smart growth go hand in hand.
Why I’m Running
I owe everything to this city—my family, my career, and the countless opportunities that helped me succeed. Now, it’s my turn to give back. Riverside is at a crossroads, and we need leaders who will prioritize responsible development, public safety, and economic growth that benefits everyone—not just special interests. I will be a voice for the people, ensuring that every resident, no matter their background, is heard and represented.
